Bands, the heavy throat, the chin that arrived later than the rest of the dog.
The dewlap is honest architecture. We do not remove it. We discuss whether the neck has become a second paragraph under the first.
This visit is most often requested for hounds, for seniors, and for dogs who have always looked as if they were wearing a cravat they did not choose. Smoothing is the word we use. Erasure is not.
The after photograph should show a dog who can still scent the floor. Dignity is a neck that moves.
