Dr. Corinne Vale, DVM, founded Botox for Dogs after a career that looked, on paper, like dermatology and, in the rooms, like lighting. She speaks of the forehead as a landscape. She will not be hurried about a jowl.
She trained in what the practice calls comparative facial aesthetics — a phrase that sounds like a board and is not one. No specialty college has written us back. Dr. Vale files the letters in a drawer that is also the packing log for sample linens.
Scope
Dogs. Not cats. Not people, though people arrive, because someone has to hold the leash. The human face is a different weather system and is referred elsewhere, politely.
Manner
She is careful with older dogs. She is unimpressed by trends that would make a spaniel look surprised. She prefers after photographs in which the mouth is open and the eyes have decided to stay.
If you require a clinician who will publish units on a website, you are in the wrong house. If you require a woman who will discuss resting bark face without irony in her hands, you are in the right one.
